Using this form allows us to provide you the best quality service and most rapid response time. Before filling it out please know that photos are required at the bottom of the form. 

 

Contacting us by phone is less recommended as response time can be much longer. Should you choose to call us please leave a voice mail at

212-366-0820 and allow three to four business days for a response. That response time may be longer depending on call volume.


To provide cost effective pick up we ask our donors to include at least two or three pieces of furniture.  There are cases in which an exceptional one piece item can be picked up however, more pieces are appreciated!


What We Take

Furniture in excellent condition
• Clean apparel (in plastic garbage bags only)
• Accessories/Shoes (Boxed or bagged)
• Antiques
• Art
• Decorative items
• Clean housewares (properly packed in boxes only)
• Jewelry
• Lighting
• Unusual finds
• Clean rugs (up to 6' x 9' with occasional exceptions)

• Up to 4 Boxes of books (24" x 24" box max)

What We Don't Take

Furniture that is not structurally sound
Furniture in need of reupholstering
Upholstered furniture with multiple stains, fading, tears or pet hair
Wood or other furniture with surface damage
Any furniture with missing parts (shelves, doors castors, legs, cushions, etc.)
Office Furniture
Mattresses, Box Springs, Futons, Day Beds
Obsolete media stands or cabinets
Large glass top dining tables
Items constructed of Formica/ wood composite/ plywood
IKEA furniture (with occasional exceptions)
Electronics older than two years
Used household appliances (coffeemakers, humidifiers, irons, etc.)
Large appliances (dishwashers, ovens, refrigerators, etc.)
Medical equipment (hospital beds or supplies, crutches, wheelchairs, etc)
Broken or chipped dishware or glassware
Exercise equipment
Baby and children’s items (cribs, changing tables, high chairs, strollers, car seats, etc)
Toys and stuffed animals (unless in unopened packages)
Fish tanks and pet care items
Food
Personal care items (hair dryers, hairbrushes, toothbrushes, cosmetics, etc.)
Blinds
Unbound carpet
Fabric
Building materials, bathroom fixtures
Cars/vehicles
Gas/kerosene-operated equipment
Textbooks, periodicals, worn or damaged books

Top Reasons That Furniture is Declined During a Pick Up

Pick up Information
In order to schedule a furniture pick up, you must be available between the hours of 10:00AM and 4:00PM. We will give advance notice of our arrival.

      
Pickup Dates must be entered using a two digit month/two digit day and 4 digit year (ex. 08/26/2016) otherwise an error will occur and the form will not be received.
